Sounds as if you have a bad ground. Take a 5 or 6ft peice of wire scrape off paint, rust, undercoatting ect off frame on trailer and car. Take visegrips or c clamp and connect one end of wire to trailer frame where you cleaned and the other end to car frame where you cleaned. Check lights they should work now. If so clean where your trailer cord ground connects to frame or find broken ground.

i did that already with a spare light, and still can not get the steady lights too work, are their any relay boxes that could be causing the problem?

Your trailer connector is wired wrong or shorted. Check the connections at the car.

I would try hooking the trailer up to another vehicle and see if everything works right if everything works on the trailer I would start testing the trailer plug on your truck could be a wire has broken.

Tail lights & running lights don't work on trailer 4 pin trailer connection. Stop and turn signals are ok.

Check the trailering fuses under the dash if 04 or newer. Check the trailering relay under the hood on pre-04.

you must check the connection where the truck harness meets the added trailer harness on the truck itself not the trailer harness.

Need to know where fuse for trailer lights hookup is located on a 2000 ford expedition eddie b edition

The trailer light's are just connected to the wire's going to the tail light's so the tail light stop light and indacator's are using the same fuse as your car. If all the light's on the trailer are not working and the tail light's on the car are then most likely it's a bad ground connection. Only one ground wire is connected to the plug so all the light's depend on it.

I have tail lights on pu but none on trailer when hooked up i replaced the plug wired same as old one no trailer tail lights I have turn & stop lights I have checked the fuse and still no juice to plug...

if you have nothing to the receptacle on the truck but the tail and stop lights still work, look under the rear of the truck near the receptacle , there should be a connection in to the main wiring harness...maybe its unpluged, dirty or corroded

Check the taillamp fuse on the truck. If it is blown, you either have a short in the wiring of the camper, or the 7 pin inverter box on the camper.
