My land rover is always threatening to overheat had pressure test done they did the test for blown head gasket it blows cold air I changed thermostat there are no leaks anywhere please help 2002 land rover...

What blows cold air? The heater? Sounds like a radiator problem. I'd have someone flush the cooling system if it has not already been done. Could also be a bad or going bad Coolant pump, unless it has been replaced. It might be smart to do both at the same time. If the coolant pump is bad, it could explain no circulation of hot coolant through your heater coil.

I have a 1999 land rover a4.0 i have a coolent leak in the water pump area it dosent look the water pump is leaking

Confirm that the leak is not from the pump.. With the engine cold and off, clean all surfaces which are wet. Make sure the top of the engine is not wet as well. Start engine and look for where the leak is using a flashlight. Be careful of moving parts.
Water pumps have weep holes that leak when the pump bearing is faulty, small holes on the top/bottom of the pump. Also look for leaks from the hose connected to the pump.

Just ad oil change and now having oil leaks. If i need to have gaskets changed what is the standard price. 2003 Land Rover Discovery 109k miles.

Check the teflon gasket on oil plug and make sure filter is not leaking, take back to where you had oil changed if possible, a sudden leak is usually a cheap fix. Price can vary alot on your gaskets, depending on how hard it is to get to and wich ones need replaced if any, really with that many miles you should still be ok up to 150,000. Good Luck!

I have a 2002 Land Rover Discovery and the car feels like it is having difficult accelorating, and feels like it is jerking and putting. I have a full tank of gas, and recently had the oil changed, but did...

if it's sluggish and bucking and there may or may not be a check engine light on, it's probably in need of spark plugs, wires, and / or ignition coil packs. also if it overheated, it may have blown the a head gasket or two. at least take it to a good land rover dealer and have a multi point inspection done. ive worked on a lot of discos where theyve needed a water pump, head gaskets, throttle heater and gasket, new coolant lines, front main seal, just for starters.... most just get a complete engine reseal where we take the entire engine out and put all new gaskets in it. at least a $2,000 job for the customer. it may be time to look for a good deal on it as a trade in.

Just changed all the hoses & thermostat on my 2000 land rover (over 100k) discovery last week. Now noticed antifreeze leaking under water pump- suspect it's going bad, am I correct?

yes. there is a small weep hole in the snout of the water pump. if you see the coolant coming from there, it's time to replace it. coolant could also be leaking out of the front cover seal. but that would be lower than the water pump. check it well.

My 95 rr county is overheating. I replaced my thermostat and coolant doesnt leak. What can be causing the overheating?

the water pump may be defective, or the head gasket might be blown. Smell the exhaust and if it smells "sweet" - if so, have a cylinder leak-down test done to see if one of the head gaskets blew.
