If your battery light never came on then its time to replace your car battery. If the battery light came on then you have a charging problem-bad alternator. Turn on your headlights and try your starter while someone watches if the headlights dim to almost out. If they do dim out then replace your battery.
Good luck and thanks for your question and I hope my suggestions help. burdfrenzy

When I turn off engine, why do I hear a clicking sound from under dash?

HI THE CLICKING SOUND IS PROBABLY A HEATER/AC ACTUATOR WITH A STRIPPED GEAR , WHEN THIS HAPPENS TRY TO MOVE THE HEATER CONTROL KNOB FOR THE MODES (DEFROST/FLOOR/VENTS) SEE IF NOISE CHANGES . IF IT DOSE THEN THE ISSUE IS WITH A ACTUATOR UNDER THE DASH

When I turn The Key To the start position, the car dose nothing. No clicking no turn over.

Did you try and jump it? Check your battery connections and cables. If all try and start it in neutrial. after that you may need to check for power a the starter and have somebody else try to start it while you check for power there.

What cause fiat uno 1100 starting problem

Check/ inspect. ..
the battery voltage, should be 12 volts
the battery connections, should be nice and tight and free from corrosion
the wiring to the starter motor/ solenoid,
the main earth wire attached to the car chassis.
If applicable check your alarm system or immobilizer is working correctly
if applicable and obviously take the car out of gear / drive and put in neutral. ( automatic transmissions won't start unless in the neutral position.
turn the headlights off.
be sure your turning the key all the way to to start position.
check dose the motor turn over manually (siezed)
dose the starter motor make a clicking sound? this is the solenoid trying to engage.
(try push starting/ jump starting the car)
remove starter motor and replace or recondition
hope this helps a bit.

My 1980 ford bronco wont start. replaced solenoid and starter and it dose the same thing. wont crank wen i disconnect and reconnect battery and i try to start it all it dose is it clicks and everything...

it sounds like the battery has a problem with it and needs replacing,as you try to start the truck it pulls all the voltage out of the battery(which is very little in the battery)causing the clicking sound you hear, make sure the battery cable connections are tight and clean, both the terminals and cable ends.it takes very little voltage to power up a radio or lights and they probably stop working shortly after they are turned on.

MY 1984 BUICK REGAL SWITCH TO INGINATION TURNS BUT CAR WILL NOT CRANK UP

If the car dose not make any type of noise when you try to start it is is a power issue and you should check your battery and wiring to make sure there is no lose wires. if it dose make some sort of noise please respond with what type of noise it makes and I will do my best to point you in the correct direction.

Thank you hope this helped.

Thank you,
Norse

Lights up when turned on,but repeated clicking when you try to start it

dose it start when you get a boost off, and if it dose you need to check your battery connectors they may need replacing, and if thats not the problem make sure that your alternator is charging your battery and if non of these are the problem you need a starter.
