Your heater core, which is under the dash is supplied by coolant from the
engine. If it is leaking, or the hoses to it are leaking, it could end up on
    your carpet.
Also, if the drain for the A/C evaporator is clogged, you would
have a similar result. This sometimes happens after getting a car undercoated.

Is the 2002 hyaundai santefe a zero tolerance motor

The 2002 Santa Fe 4 cyl and 6 cyl engines are deemed "Interference" engines. If the timing belt should break or slip a few teeth, the pistons will strike the valves and most likely destroy the engine. Thus it is very important to change the timing belt every 80,000 - 100,000 miles (along with a replacement water pump). I recommend buying a belt/pump kit and having a local independent shop do the install (much cheaper than a dealer's $600 charge!).

Belt & pump kits are available via Amazon:

Starting in 207 Hyundai started shifting all of their engines to metal timing "chains"... more or less eliminating the possibility of such a problem. However, water pumps still go out... but not nearly as often or catastrophic a problem!

Power steering fluid is leaking on the backside of the engine dripping on the exhaust what or were is it coming from?

You have a power steering pump and 2 hoses in that area (which go from the pump to the rack & pinion) which cause the wheels to turn back and forth.
Likely one of the hoses has failed and is leaking.
Be blessed.

2002 Hyundai Elantra - My car overheated over the weekend and is not holding water or antifreeze.

It is highly possible the radiator has developed a leak in the upper and/or solder joints of the radiator. If it got hot enough it could melt the brazing and/or solder joints. You probably will not be able to see this with just your eyes but it would show up when pressure is built up inside the radiator when driving. Any competent auto shop can run a radiator pressure test to find the problem. Hope this helps.

I have a 2006 hyundai sonata 3.3 i noticed water leaks from top radiator hose ,hose is not damaged while engine is running it spills even more, is thermostat stuck or water pump faulty.

when engine is running there is more pressure on hose you have to have a pin hole in hose. you better replace right away because if you don't and the car over heats you will possibly blow your head gaskets causing water to get into your oil and costing you a small fortune. replace hose right away and make sure you have plenty of engine coolant in your vehicle.

2004 hundai santefe blows white smoke andismissing

You have water entering one or more of your cylinders. Could be a blown head gasket or a cracked head. Especially if you got the engine very hot recently.

I have a 2002 hyundai santa fe 2.7L that misfires when idling and in gear but not in park or neutral. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check all the Vac hoses and reconnect and repair as needed. Too much air in the intake makes the O2 sensor compensate with more fuel, causing the engine to pop and backfire,

Coolant leak

Your pipes are corroded remove your water hoses and check where the pipes are corroded and replace. Probably a good time to replace your hoses and coolant when you have the system sound
