PO-139 I had that sensor change 3 weeks ago and the check engine light came on again this morning. Thanks

Probably replaced a good sensor. This codes could be from a bad sensor, a vacuum leak, or an exhaust leak before the sensor.

Fault code P0134

P0134 fault code means that the front oxygen sensor does not work. When the engine starts, the engine computer to monitor the input voltage before the oxygen sensor, if the signal voltage from the sensor within the specified time is less than 0.5V, the computer determines the sensor does not work, probably because the engine computer failure, sensor failure, between line failure, exhaust system leaks, etc., are generally sensor damage. To the service shop using the obd2 scanner can be judged. hope the answer to help you.

Iput a new alarm sistem on my 2005 odyssey and chek engine light came on, code p 0420

P0420 = catalyst efficiency below threshold (bank 1)

I think it is a coincidence that the check engine light came on with this code at the same time as you installed the new alarm.

the power train control module or computer checks the output of the oxygen sensors (pre-catalyst and post-catalyst) and compares them. When the post-catalyst sensor output starts to resemble the pre-catalyst sensor output with little difference, the computer sets the catalyst efficiency code. Check the output of the oxygen sensors. A worn out or lazy oxygen sensor might be at fault. If the sensors check okay, then the catalytic converter may need to be replaced. This is unusual for a 2005 unless the engine has been having misfires. Raw unburned fuel will quickly destroy a catalytic converter.

Check Engine light is on but there is not a problem with the car

the check engine light also means there is a sensor telling the engine something needs fixiing :ie Repace oxygen sensor or something of this nature that does not affect the over all performance of the vehicle, maybe less to the gallon but thats about it.

Ny service engine light is on and Ineed to know how to reset it

If there are no issues, the light would go out. Something must be wrong.

Go to a place, like lube place, or a shop and pull the codes. Then you will know what needs attention.

Stuff like throttle position sensors, oxygen sensors, temp sensors (meaning fairly easy to replace), once you know the offending item. If multiple codes, do more research, there will be a most common failure item, like a TPI sensor. Do the statistically common one first, clear the codes, and see if the other item was reacting to the 1st item.... OFten it does, sometimes you have more than one issue.

For example, if TPI sensor made the engine really rich, the oxygen sensor may be covered and not work well....

The check engine light produced codes p1150 and p1155 on a 2000 toyota avalon xls.

All cars sold in the US after 1995 use the same on board diagnotics called OBD-II. The codes are the same. Search OBM-II error codes and you'll get a listing.

P1150 Air/Fuel Sensor Circuit Range/Performance. (cylinder bank 1 Sensor 2)

P1150 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
water or corrosion in the O2 sensor connector, loose terminals in the connector, wiring burnt on exhaust components, open or short in the wiring due to rubbing on engine components, holes in exhaust allowing unmetered oxygen into exhaust system, unmetered vacuum leak at the engine, bad O2 sensor or bad PCM.

P1155 Air/Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit. (cylinder bank 1 Sensor 2)
P1155 may mean that one or more of the following has happened: O2 Heater element resistance is high, Internal short or open in the heater element or O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance

Solution :Replace oxygen sensor and see if the problem goes away.
