Abs unit problem, wheel sensors were good. Is it possible that the unit is broken.

did you read the FSM on topic?
most abs cant be fixed at home, there are no scan tools at home.
go to honda.
go to and read the ABS pages, (FSM is better)

the free ones are here.

no symptoms even stated. only a , is it possible (which is always yes)

you do know that bad brakes can cause the ABS to fault right?
that be first. not last.
Example: you scan ABS it tells you , right rear wheel sensor acts funny, you find a bad brake part there. rusted lever.... or?
sticking shoes, or ebrake sticking on one side (rust)
or vastly more possibles... we take it all apart and make that all perfect (sp. lube and all) even a bad wheel bearing,,,,

Brake pedal loosing pressure

Honda had two brake reservoirs one on the normal brake master cylinder the other on the ABS module. If abs fuse has no power the module has no power. that power comes from the main fuses in underhood fuse box. the abs system is supplement system to normal braking system loss of brake pedal is a air problem or drum brake adjustment problem or a loose wheel bearing pushing the caliper piston back into caliper requiring more fluid to get brake to work causing a low pedal.

2003 Honda Civic Si - Changing rear brake problem

Ford taurus's have the same setup on the rear calipers and it requires a special tool or persistance on your part with a pair of channels lock pliers and a c clamp. turn the piston clockwise as you press it in with a c clamp or get the tool mentioned below.

Harbor Freight has this special tool... found HERE

And yes, once you get the piston in it will come back out on it's own and yes will automatically readjust.
