Probably bad starter, but also check battery cables from battery to starter and ground.

Battery or starter. First make sure both battery connections are clean and tight. Check the battery to make sure it is holding 12 volts. If so there is a 99% chance the starter & solonoid need replacing

My 2000 honda accord ex wont start,

Is it a single loud click when you try to start it? Or multiple clicks or "buzz"? If it is a single click heard from the engine, your starter has likely failed. Test the battery first, and inspect the battery cables/connections for any looseness/corrosion.

My 2007 Hyundai Sonata just made a very loud sound when I tried to start it. It scared me and I shut it off. When I restarted it, it was fine. But it doesn't feel like the RPM's are acting normal. I...

not sure what type of noise it was? sometimes if the starter drive gear is worn out they stick and that is a loud noise, not very serious. starter drive is only a few dollars, but its a little more for labour. if it is the starter drive usually it wont actually start the car it will just spin then if you let go and re start a few times it catches and starts it up still. hope this helps , good luck

1995 ford f150 makes single loud click when trying to start

Does it make the loud click just once, or will it continue to click when you turn the key?
If it is just once, then there is still a bad connection someplace for the main power. If it continues to click every time you turn the key to "start", then it is probably the starter solenoid itself that is bad. There are two big terminals (bolts) on the solenoid, and if you connect a 12V test light or meter across them, you should see power there. If the light doesn't go out (or very dim) when you turn the ign. to 'start', then the solenoid is bad. If the light goes out and the starter doesn't turn, then there is something wrong with the starter. I suspect the solenoid also because it works better with a strong charge on the battery.

SL1 won't start, just single click, electronics work

Try charging the battery or jumping the car, your alternator could be shot and not charging the battery.

89 toyota celica st not starting but clicking

There is either a cable not getting a very good connection, solenoid has problems, or there is a wiring leading to a relay that has a bad connections. How is your ignition? Is it loose or have loose wires?

also check the magnetic switch mounted on the starter housing, is supplied by current from the starting switch circuit of the ignition switch. This magnetic action of the switch mechanically engages the starter clutch assembly and electrically closes the heavy switch which connects it to the battery. The starting switch circuit consists of the starting switch contained within the ignition switch, a transmission neutral safety switch or clutch pedal switch, and the wiring necessary to connect these in series with the starter solenoid or relay.
