Why does my car overheat sometimes?

sounds like thermostat problem. of course it will heat up faster if you run a/c because motor is under more stress. follow the big hose from radiator and where it goes into the top of engine is your thermostat

2000 Cadillac DeVille sounds like prop-plane on acceleration

Could be the serpentine belt rubbing on something, but is probably a bearing problem in the belt idler pulley. However, it could be the power steering pump, AC compressor clutch or generator. As the water pump is at the opposite end of the engine, it's probably not that.

My car sounds like a cross between an airplane and a lawnmower. The faster I go the faster the plane is going to lift off the ground. ?? What could be making my 2004 Chrysler Seebring Touring sound like...

Check for exhaust leaks.Look for any cracks in catalytic converter or muffler at the inlet and outlet or holes in the pipe. With the car running and the hood open you should be able to pinpoint the general are the sound is originating from. Check the exhaust manifold bolts. Are any broken off, missing or partially backed out?

Is it a driving noise or a noise only when the motor is running with the car stationary??If its a driving noise then it could be a wheel bearing otherwise its an auxillary drive Ie alternator or pas pump etc

My galant's power steering only works at higher rpm

sounds like the pump is going out, check fluid, check belt, usually when u have to run at high rpm like that sounds like the pump is weak, higher rpms turns pump faster making fluid run through quicker, slower rpm fluid not pumping enough fluid to keep pump working, i believe you need power steering pump, if it goes ot while driving, it would be like driving a car from the 40 or 50s. hard to turn, you may even cause a wreck, you could get hurt or somebody else

Rattling clacking sound slower you go louder the sound faster you go the lest the sound

eek i just had a problem similar to that and was hoping it would be the flywheel but it wasnt if the sound continues to get louder you may need a new car as it may be the bottom part of your motors worn out and abotu to throw a bearing the flywheel or flex plate is stilla option as well .. but it sounds like it may be a axle or cv joint as the sound if im correct isnt coming from the motor its self adn a clicking sound usualyl means a worn out cv joint or axle problem

Can you pinpoint where the clicking is comming from, is it from the tranfer case , front differancial, front hubs? From your discription, it sounds like something maybe is not engaging all the way, Have you checked any of the U joints on the front drive shaft?

This could be a transmission issue or a catalytic converter issue hard to say with the limited info provided
