Question about 2004 Pontiac Grand Am
If you have installed a new battery and it still wont start it is most likely the starter that went out and will need replaced. hope this helped

The problem may actually be the ignition swicth. because gm didnt feel a starer relay was needed for this model the ignition switch recieves high amps this causes the switch contacts to carbon up. remove the switch clean the contacts then reinstall that should fix it.
