The easyest way to replace the brake line in this spot is to find a good place in front of the tank and fish a new line up through the frame, then join it front & rear into the system where you have room to work.
As far as the towing, you should see what the maximum rateing of the truck is, also you should check the other brake lines for corrosion. good luck.

1994 buick century brakes went out fluid leaking from rear

Brake lines by rear door on drivers side are a common failure point. lines under door failing can cause a total brake failure. Just replace and bleed the lines.

My brakes are leaking in the rear driver side need a diagram of brake lines to folllow.

Follow the brake line starting at the left rear wheel, there is no diagram for brake lines, take the tire off and inspect (look) left rear wheel, It will be wet where the leak is, if the inside of the tire is wet then you might want to check the brake cylinder, behind the brake drum. You might want to take it to a shop and get it fixed, It is your life and others, if you can't stop.

Loss of breaks. Brake fluid leaking from brake line near rear wheel where the line is strapped to the frame. Any ideas? Am I looking at a big repair bill?

No, happens all the time to rusty lines. Have it towed to a brake shop. Brake line replacement is relatively easy but requires a couple of special tools. If the line goes over the gas tank, I usually just leave the busted part up there and reroute a new splice to the wheel cylinder. Labor should be no more than a couple of hours if they do it that way.

Hello, here's the deal with that brake line. Most of the line is wrapped in a steel spring from about 5-6 inches from the rear bake hose till around the transfer case and then it starts back up again and runs all the way up to the ABS Hydralic Control Unit. What you need to do is forget the original line. It is fastened to the left side of the frame and pinched in very tight in several areas that your not going to get it out. What you should do is get a roll of 3/16 polycoated brake line with US threads. Run that from the HCU to your left rear brake hose. It will tread right into the brake hose, but I am not sure about the HCU. Ford has a tendency of using metric fitings on the stuff up front and standard for all the other fittings. I would also get a new hose for the rear because it will probably break when you try to get the line off. This is what I did with mine. I cut the brake line with snips right about the hose connector. Then I bent the metal bracket that holds the hose to the chassis down. This allowed me to get the hose off of the bracket easier. You can always bend it back up when your done. If you change the hose, you might want to consider getting new nuts or even new lines for the rear wheels. Brake lines seem easy when you start it. But they always tend to need more then think when you start out. Oh yeah, and before you run that brake line along and though the chassis. Wrap the end with electrical tape to keep all the rust and mud out of the line. I hope this helps.

1994 explorer limited 1) left rear drivers brake line leaking out of sight up high by wheel well and gas tank any pics or diagrams of what the lines look like there(where they connect, bend etc...2) It has...

If it's a rusty brake line that's leaking you'd best replace the whole brake line system (all 4 wheels) for your safety. Fuel lines have the same problem. These are made out of steel and rust fast due
to calcium chloride used on the roads in winter.
Unless you're familiar with routing and installing connectors on these lines I suggest you let a pro do the job. It ain't as easy as it looks.

Leaking brake fluid from rear driver side brake lines, need a diagram of how to replace the lines. 1994 ford taurus 3.o v6.thanks

They don't make diagrams for brake lines. The lines are sold in bulk. You need to measure and duplicate the bends in the orignal lines and cut/flare the lines yourself. You will need a tubing cutter, flare tool and tubing bender.

Brake line is leaking in the left rear of my 94 grand am. cant seem to follow line up to abs system. dont want to cut the wrong line. how do i know what line to replace going into abs.

your lines are in a 5 groove holder plastic clip on the drivers side by the back door,if you could have use of a lift it is visible to follow it from the left wheel cylinder around the gas tank.

Need to replace brake line from rear axle forward on a 1996 gmc sierra 1500 pu xcab. i need a diagram.

Chanses are it broke behind the gas tank wear it runs along the frame rail. You don't need a diagram to fix that, just unhook it at both ends and break it off or cut it off buy the tank and take the pieces with you to a auto parts store and they will match it up with new line, just take a tape measure and measure from the rear axel to the front block or perportioning valve, and don't worry about the piece behind the tank, just run the new line alongside the old one behind the tank unless you want to pull the tank out.
