Your fuel pump relay is in the under the hood fuse box and should be marked. If not looking into the fuse box you"ll have two rows of fuses (side by side ) totaling 18 fuses, there are two relay just above the two rows of fuses and the one directly above the fuses is the fuel pump relay. Also you mite want to check your inertia switch and make sure the red center button is depressed ! you"ll find the inertia switch located behind the right hand kick panel (down on the floor inside the vehicle, passengers side ) good luck thanks for using fixya

Hi have trouble locating fuel pump relay switch i think it may need new fuel pump but trying the cheapest way first when i turn key it turns over like it wants to start but will not start if u pour fuel...

the fuel pump has 2 fuses 1 in the engine compartment fuse box and 1 in the fuse box inside dash. Also the fuel pump relay is located in the glove box on the passenger side their is 3 relays in there. If you put your hand on the relays and turn the key to the on position you should feel it click and then you will know which one it is. If you do not feel it then this is likely your problem but check the 2 fuses first.

2005 Ford F-150 5.4 The truck is not starting. When you turn it on it sound like it is not getting fuel to run the engine. Or the fuel pump is not comming on. Need help please.. Thank you

Fuel pump relay probably. There is also a relay which affects the injector output also controlled by the fuel pump relay which is called an auto shut down relay.Try the fuel pump relay first. Then the auto shut down relay. If not either of those, you may need a fuel pump but doesn't seem likely on a 5 year old truck but stranger things have happened.Good luck,Greg A dealer will likely tell you exactly where they are as I do not know parts locations for every car. Most systems, yes, parts locations,no.Happy (inexpensive) Holiday

How do I change the fuel pump on a 2000 Acura TL?

hi, when you turn the ignition on do you hear the fuel pump start up if you do then the pump is fine if how ever you hear nothing then the chances are its going to either be the fuel pump or fuel pump relay, if you have a look in your fuse box you should be able to find the fuel pump relay if you cant locate it then its best you get a manual to show you the relays location, you can then put a finger on the relay and when you turn the ignition on you should feel a little click coming from the relay if you hear this then the pump needs replacing but if you hear or feel nothing then the chances are the relay needs replacing.

you can also check if the pump is working by removing the fuel feed hose from the injector fuel rail then once this is removed you put a tub under it then turn the ignition on if you have fuel shooting out then you know the fuel pump and relay are ok and you need to start thinking of some other problem such as ecu etc,

see what you find then get back to me and ill try and assist you further ok

Fuel pump relay for a 1994 Chevy Truck WT1500

The Fuel Pump Relay is located in the Glove Box under a little cover on the upper left side. The Fuel Control Relay is the left relay and The Fuel Pump Relay is the right. To test these relays, swap them and then try to start the vehicle, or blow the horn. If the horn blows then use that relay for the pump and you may at least drive the vehicle where needed! If the vehicle starts, then replace them as a pair.

Fuel Pump Relay Switch

Underneath your hood, behind the passenger side headlight, behind the core support, is a bank of 2-8 relays. One of those relays is the relay needed for your fuel pump. There will also be a fuel pump relay fuse located there. The relay designation should be on the cover of the relay compartment.
