There is a code you must put into the radio after the power has been disconnected. You may find it written down [ by the original ] along with the instructions in the owner's manual if you have it, other wise you should visit a Honda dealer.

CODE is saying that the radio has lost power. The code is an anti-theft built in the radio to keep people from stealing the radio. What you will have to do, is call your local Honda dealership and give them the VIN number of the car and they will give you a 4 digit code to put in the radio. When you call the dealership, ask to talk to the service department. Sometimes they will want you to bring in proof of ownership before they will give you the code.

Check your ownwr's manual, if you' re not the original owner, as people sometimes write them down in there. otherwise, contact your honda dealer. you will have to prove ownership, but they should be able to get the code, provided it's the original radio.

My 2002 Honda Odyssey recently needed a jump start. Now my radio has a "C" on it and will not start. I tried using the radio code, but that didn't work either. Any suggestions?

the radio wont start? you meant PLAY.
that is because you lost the secret code, the opr. guide warned you .
the new car came with a green radio code card. sure lost.
so where did you get your code. ib bet off the silly internet. the web of lies? sure.... ????

Your vehicle's audio system may disable itself if it is disconnected from electrical power for any reason.
To make it work again, you must enter a specific five-digit code with the preset buttons.
Because there are hundreds of number combinations possible from the five
digits, making the system work without knowing the exact code is nearly impossible.

You should have received a radio code card that lists your audio system's code and serial numbers. {glove box find}
It is best to store this card in a safe place at home. In addition, you should write the audio system's serial number in this owner's manual.

If you lose the card, you must obtain the code number from your dealer.
To do this, you will need the audio system's serial number.

If your vehicle's battery is disconnected or goes dead, or the radio
fuse is removed, the audio system will disable itself. If this happens,
you will see ''ENTER CODE'' in the frequency display (on the screen on models with navigation system) the next time you turn on the system.
Use the preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. The code is on the radio code card included in your owner's manual kit.
When it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.

If you make a mistake entering the code, do not start over; complete the
five-digit sequence, then enter the correct code. You have 10 tries to enter the correct code.
If you are unsuccessful in 10 attempts, you
must then leave the system on for 1 hour before trying again.

The system will retain your AM and FM presets even if power is disconnected. {only on newer cars'

After jump starting my honda odyssey (due to a dead battery) my radio will not turn on?? on the display it says "code"?? Can you help?

Call the dealership where you got this car. They will provide you with the code. This is to prevent radio theft, it locks up when power is disconnected. You can also call honda corporate customer service, and they should be able to give you your code, but the dealership is a better idea. Honda owner myself, I've been through this.

I need the code in the radio to start my radio. I accidently left my car door open and the battery dies, after jump strating the car the radio does not work. It is asking for a code???

If you don't know what the code is, then I am assuming you either forgot the code that you programmed into the radio or you are not the original owner of the vehicle. In either case, the code can be overridden by the dealer. You will have to show proof that you own the vehicle when you ask them to reset your radio, so make sure you have your ID and Vehicle Registration with you.

The battery in my 2004 honda accord died. I got a jump and now the stereo won't operate and the clock just flashes. What do I do?

You have to put in the code for the radio, it is usually on a card in your owners manual. whenever you replace a battery, or disconnect it the code has to be entered. same thing happened to me.

2007 Honda Accord--battery died now radio and clock don't work

Hi. Jumping the battery when the radio is turned on will often cause a problem. I would check the fuses for the radio first as one of them may have blown. Regarding the clock it is blinking and needs to be reset.

Since this is a relatively new car I recommend going to a book store and purchasing the service manual for Honda which includes the 2007 models. This will you how to reset the clock. Then keep the manual in the glove compartment for all future reference.

Good luck.
