1998 ford taurus,brake lights remain on when car not in use,continuous draining of battery. also interior lights sometimes will not go off when exiting the car?

Sounds like a bad brake light switch. It's mounted on top side of your brake pedal. Domelites are a faulty door switch. Both are fairly inexpensive repair, local parts store should have everything easily in stock.

No start or no crank. no radio no radio ,power locks ,headlights or brakes light.

Have you checked the battery? Are you sure everything is connected/? If you can't get it to start because you have no juice but have a new battery, then that's a problem. Or something is draining the hell out of your battery. Check the fuses.

You could have a bad switch somewhere, like in the glove compartment, which wouldn't allow the light to turn off, or it could be a relay not allowing your interior lights to shut off when you close the door, or your headlight switch might be faulty, or anything like that. Start with checking all your lights in the car to see if something does not go out when the car is shut off and write back..

When im driving my 1998 ford taurus the car dies everytime i use the lights. and battery goes dead.

you should check the alternator to see if it is putting out the voltage it should. (13 to14 volts) If not the car is draining the battery until it quits running. putting the lights on would just speed up the process

Do all other interior lamps come on and go off when door is open and closed. Check dimmer switch to see if it is turned all the way up for interior lamps.

Interior brake light

if u have an electric trailer brake controller fitted try disconnecting it as sometimes the battery feed to the unit can randomly backfeed the brake circuit causing your symptoms
