Windshield wiper light is lit on the dashboard; fluid is full

"If the windshield wiper fluid of your Chevy Equinox ends up on the rear window instead of the windshield, there could be several possible causes:

Damaged or incorrectly connected windshield wiper fluid tube: The tube that carries the windshield wiper fluid from the reservoir to the base of the front windshield wiper may be damaged or not connected properly, causing the fluid to leak elsewhere.

Clogged windshield wiper fluid outlet: The outlet of the windshield wiper fluid on the base of the front windshield wiper may be clogged with dirt or debris, causing the fluid to flow onto another part of the car, such as the rear window.

Windshield wiper system issues: There may be a problem with the windshield wiper system of your Chevy Equinox that causes the fluid to leak onto other parts of the car instead of the windshield."

Check fuses or washer pump. .replace.

You have a lvl sensor located in the bottom of your washer bottle, you will either need to repair or change your sensor, or unplug the sensor to keep an open circuit.

replace the sensor in the bottle. you can check for a wiring issue by unplugging the sensor and see if the light goes out. if it doesn't, install a jumper wire in the connector. the float in the bottle is just an on/off switch

Have you checked relays and the fuses

Check that the fluid reservoir is full of windshield wiper fluid and that the pump is not worn out or burnt out. May have to get a new pump and remove and replace to fix this problem. Also, check that the windshield wiper fluid is winter type and not summer type in cold climates.

What fluid do you have in the tanks? Is it the summer formula which may freeze below 32 deg. F? Or, I would check fuses for the windshield wiper fluid pumps.

Also, check with a test light to see if the test light goes on when the backprobed connection to the windshield wiper fluid pump should be energized with the button or switch inside the vehicle.

If the electric pumps which should wrrrr when working are bad, replace at or near the tanks.

check and clean the level sensor inside wiperfluid reservoir .cause sometimes get a dirt o a few rust and still in contact

Check your windshield washer fluid level.  The washer fluid tank has a level sensor in it.  That could be why that light came on.
