Question about 2006 Chevrolet Colorado
it sounds like you altenator fan belt has snapped, this will drain the battery until the car grinds to a holt. radio will work a while longer though.
If thats not the issue then you have either a bad earth connection somewehere or ECM needs looking at. I would check the obvious by look over the engine but if you still stuck a code machine is the best way, send me the code and I can tell you exactly the fault
