Have you checked the right hose for fuel pressure?
there is a return hose and supply
where have you checked from under the bonnet?
hose to injector rail is correct one
not from regulator
is the fuel filter blocked?
fuel pump sock or screen in tank blocked?
pump could sound like its working but not give enough supply or pressure
in which the pump needs replacing (broken vanes) in pump?

No fuel getting to carburator


Things you need to check:
1. is there enough fuel in tank?
2. You can hear fuel pump motor running? If your car has electronic fuel pump then most of the time these pumps are the main culprit. Its fitted inside the tank and you can hear its sound when you switch on the ignition key. Open the fuel filler cap and try to hear from there. If you cannot hear, check for fuel pump fuse under the hood. There should be a fuse box with diagram showing which fuse is of what thing in car. If nothing works, you probably need to replace the pump.
3. If your car has manual pump (not electronic) then you should see a roundish thing under the hood connected to engine in which fuel line is coming from tank and then going to carb. Pull out the outlet pipe and crank the car for 10 sec. and see if you get any fuel. If not then this manual pump should be replaced.

Fuel pump not running


Are you sure your fuel pump is not functioning ? To check if pump is operating listen by the fuel tank while another person turns the ignition to the accessory position. If the pump is working you will hear a couple seconds of a hum or vibration coming from the inside of tank. Not very loud so do this in a fairly quiet setting or time of day. To change pump you have to drop fuel tank, pump is inside tank.

Sounds like the fuel pump in the tank is not coming on.
There can be other reasons for this besides a bad fuel pump.
Stand by the rear of your car near the tank, and take the fuel filler cap off. Have someone turn the key to on (not cranking). You should hear the pump come on for about 2-3 seconds to pressurize the fuel lines, then shut back off. If you hear it, then pump is working. If you don't hear it, you'll need your fuel pump checked. It or the circuit is not working.

if you have two tanks you have two fuel pumps, each one is in the tank. you should be able to hear each pump prime (which ever the switch is set to) when you cycle the key. try them both and if neither comes on then it's probably not the pumps. if you only have one tank or neither of the pumps came on for the two pump test then you need to check the fuses and relays but if one of them is burnt then you still need to find out what blew the fuse.

Not getting fuel to engine


i would start by getting somebody to cycle the key on and off while you listen to hear if the fuel pump is turning on or not. (when the key is turned on the fuel pump will turn on and you should hear it start up and then turn off.) if you can hear the fuel pump come on then i would check to see if the fuel filter is plugged. if you cannot hear the fuel pump you should check your fuses. if all the fuses are good then get a rubber mallot and bang on the bottom of the gas tank. the vibrations usually will get a fuel pump to start up again and your car should start up.(if it fires up after banging on the gas tank, you will need to replace the fuel pump. the banging on the gas tank only works a couple of times. enough to get you home or to a shop to replace.)

Engine quit while driving,fuel pump not coming on


This has happend to me before. It could be one of two things:

1) Fuel pump fuse is out.
2) The brushes in the pump motor are becoming weak and have stopped in a spot where they are too worn to conduct.

Fix:
1) check the fuse.

if that's not it, try this (it's worked for me and I was able to make it to the shop to get a new pump installed.)

2) Turn the ignition to the ON or RUN position, but be sure that the car is in park. Grab a rubber mallet and carefully get under the car (from the rear) and locate the fuel tank. Give the tank a few raps with a rubber mallet. This will jar the tank and hopefully break the brushes free from the 'dead' spot. if it works you will hear the pump begin to hum. Then drive it to the shop.

most of fuel pumps were in tank, wire corrodes is harness under right front seat floor pan to tank
if fuel pump buzz is heard and car runs and when it doesnt run you cant hear the fuel pump try
turn ignition off wait 10 seconds
turn ignition to on position to (prime or hear pump buzz)
no buzz fuel pump not working check fuel pump relay(swap with another) and try again?
you could use test light to pump wiring and make sure your getting power to pump on this prime test no power relay or wiring problem.
power at pump, but no buzz fuel pump faulty

I cannot get the car started.


most likely the fuel pump will need to be replaced. only way to replace is to drop the fuel tank and remove the pump from the top. the 92 camaro did not come with the emergency fuel cutoff switch. best way to find out is to turn the ignition on and listen at the fuel fille spout you should be able to hear it pretty good from there if it is working. to drop the tank ... you will need a jack, 2 jack stands and a standard socket set ... just jack up the car and support it by the stands. make sure you put something in front of the front wheels. remove the 2 fuel tank straps and lower the tank ... installing the tank will be easier if it is empty ... just drain the gas into a clean garbage can or small pail depending on how much fuel you have in it. just make sure you strain he fuel before putting it back in or you can look to possibly replacing the fuel filter.

Replace fuel pump on 1995 caprice classic


Un plug fuel pump wires at back of tank mounted on the frame at very rear of car. Remove hose clamps at back of tank going to filler tube and vent. Place a jack with a piece of would on the top of it under the center of the Gas tank. Remove the straps that criss cross the tank. Two in front and two in back. Very slowly lower the tank, there are some fuel lines going to the fuel pump that need to be removed if the tank comes down too far you could bend the pump lines. You will need fuel line tools to remove the lines from the metal lines coming from the pump. Once these are removed lower the tank the rest of the way and pull tank out. There are about five or six 10 mm nuts on the top of the pump hold down ring. Remove the nuts. Then slowly remove the pump from the tank. Be careful of the float for the fuel level you may have to lean the pump to one side as you remove it from the tank... you will only need to replace the pump not the whole module on this model..The pump is in the plastic module. Unplug the wires going to the pump then unsnap the plastic top. Remove the filter from the bottom then push the pump out. Reverse steps with new pump.

Fuel relays on this model almost never go bad. If you hear the pump its not a relay. But just because you hear the pump does not mean the pump is working right. It may be loosing pressure...

Loss of spark was also a problem the the 95 4.3 v8. and the distributor located at the front of the engine behind the damper and water pump was the problem and very expensive....

Fuel pump not pumping


You can Hear fuel running? Where in the tank? If so then it sounds like the fuel pump dettached from the supply line inside the tank.
