Question about 1990 Honda Prelude
Installed new thermostat and that didn't take care of the problem. Putting in a new water pump today and I hope that works. Any suggestions if the water pump doesn't work. I read to drill a couple of holes in the thermostat or take it off completely until winter. Can I really do either of these?
Taking the thermostat out would be an overall bad idea because the coolant will flow too fast and it will not have a chance to be cooled down by the radiator.
