I have a 1992 Toyota Camry LE sedan. It has approx 197,000 on it. I bought it used 9 years ago and I love this car It is in great condition. My question is I want to keep it in good shape and am not sure...

I would have to see it to say for sure.
Things like the timing belt and water pump should have been changed at every 80,000 mile point. Same goes for belts and coolant hoses.
Ignition system parts and the fuel filter around 60,000 mile points.
60k - 120k - 180k etc
Everything else is generally fix it when it breaks.
Most import engines and cars are expected to last 200,000 miles. So you are close to that mark but no reason to expect it to fall apart any time soon.

Was told my hyundai sonata xg350 needs a new timing belt...what is the going price for this job done by expert mechanic. Also, how difficult of a job is this for a non expert w/experience in this area?

Timing belts are best left to the experts. You can expect to pay in area of $500 - $600 or more. It is common when belts break to bend a valve in the process, if this happens, expect to pay several hundred more.

How much does the 60,000 service cost?

The cost can range from 500 to 1000 dollars. It all depends on what has depreciated on the current vehicle. With that said; You should expect to pay around 800 dollars, at most, for the 60k service. You can request to not have certain check points covered to lower the end price, but I don't recommend that at all.

The tries will usually inflate the price past 1000 dollars if they need replacing during the service inspection.

What does the 60k mile maintenance entail? how much it cost?

The dealer will get top dollar for anything they do, or possibly persuade you to do. At 60k, besides check this or check that, it is wise to do air filter every15k, max 30k. Fuel filter every 15k, max 30k. cabin filter every15k. Spark plugs these days can go as high as 100k. Serpentine belt at 45-60k. Coolant flush and fill every 30k, or every 2-3 years. Rotate tires every 6-8k. Oil and filter change every 3-5k. Most of that 700.00 is probably labor at probably $100/hr. to check brakes, check tires, check battery, safety check, etc., run tests, install new filters. All these dealers have checklists they establish to give you full security and comfort in knowing your car is safe and reliable.. You seem to know a little about it...it's the old saying, don't fix it if it ain't broke. At least discuss it with them, and then make an educated decision.

didnt you get a warrenty thrown in on a £37000 car,did this occur within 90 days of your purchase,if so go to trading standards you have a 90 day warrenty by law, sounds like they took there time finding the problem so they could not be liable for the repair bill, also visit the landyzone website i use it and its a great source of help and advise, get the landrover customer care no of another rr dealer and chat to lr people themselves and go to the vosa website and check on the recalls for range rovers.

good luck
