Hi I have 11/93 daihatsu cb engine 993cc ,oil in water have put new head gasket on with head crack tested and still getting oil in water ? do you think

The head has a cracked water jacket. The best thing to do is try finding a remaned head from the local salvage yard and take it to your local machine shop to make sure everything measures up and checks out

Hi. It sounds like you pretty much have the whole list required for this job. Get yourself an old pan to drain out any old left in the oil pan. Undo the drain plug at the bottom of the pan and drain. Remove bolts and oilpan, then remove the oil filter. Replace all and fill with oil. Hope this helps

Hello my name is Landon

The rough metal pan looking think is your oil pan this holds oil under the engine block. The piece you are missing is the cap i would get a new cap or check the oil pan to make sure it is tight on and no lose bolts also check for cracks.

92' dodge dakota has coolent in the oil

Most likely, it's a blown head gasket but, it could also be a cracked head or a cracked block. Get it fixed ASAP to prevent destroying all your motor bearings. Once the coolant gets into the oil, it's a race against time to get it fixed. The moisture will pit the bearing surfaces and that will destroy them.

Cracked oil pan on 05 pontiac g6

The car could have hit something on the road that made contact to the oil pan, or if the crack come form the inside the engine. It could have internal engine damage. The best thing to do is to just replace the whole engine with a rebuilt and you'll know that your going to have warranty and have the car for a long time. Good luck and hope this helps.

How do you prime the oil pump after rebuild

The oil pump drive is off the intermediate shaft and that is driven by the timing chains. Unless you want to take apart the chains and spin the int shaft itself, there isn' t a good way to prime the motor.
Or just try this:
Just disconnect the bulkhead plug just behind the coil pack, you know the big round thing with all the wires. Crank the engine over a few times, 10-20, reconnect the plug and start the engine.
Or this:
Look on back of block there is a metal cap held on by two bolts. Take that cap off and pull out the top gear then find a socket that fits the top of the oil pump driveshaft. Put it on a power drill with a long extension stick it in the hole onto the driveshaft and spin it, cover top of whole around the extension with a rag so it doesnt spill. This will prime the whole motor, if you do it with head open you can see the oil come up through the lifters

Toyota hilux 3l motor overheating

Dont Laugh.. But Heres I I check'em: Open the radiator cap or coolant tank if radiator cap isnt applicable. Then sniff the coolant.. If It smell like gas vapors.. Then its Definitely a blown/cracked head or gasket..( usually a gasket ) They make test kits for that. But save ya money.. the nose is cheaper.. Thanx.. PS Make sure engine is cool when ya do this..

Cracked Head???

not necessarily be a cracked head but this is an indication that the head gasket is blown out
the only way to tell if its a cracked is by a machine shop milling the top layer off the head this will show in a milling that you do or you dont have a cracked head

if its cracked head you have several options dealer head brand new
remanufactured head from any auto parts store
junk yard head 50/50 chance that these heads are cracked too

mostly i think right now its just a bad head gasket have them replace both head gaskets when they do the heads better for vehicle so you dont have to run into problem again with head gaskets
