Message center constantly displays door ajar message

My 2003 exp-eb-5.4- had the door warning going off all the time, sometimes it seemed more rounding a corner to left. Sometimes I would see the lights on in the middle of the night. Sometimes my battery would be dead after setting a couple of days. Then I wondered if battery was causing the whole door ajar security thing. Switched battery and problem solved. Now 3 or 4 months later has started running crappy in OD, will cruise ok if holding throttle steady. Runs better by turning OD off or at higher RPMs.

2001 Ford 4 door was runningg great turned off went inside an hour later tried to start and it wouldn't turn over, also can't shift automatic in neutral. Tried to jump start thought it was dead...

I'm thinking its the battery. Heat kills batteries. You said it wont jump start. That's a dead ringer for a bad battery. It may have enough juice to power some things, but wont run the starter, or the fuel pump, or the ignition(spark). Try a new battery and let me know!

Where is the fuel pump on a 1986 ram250 pick up truck located

it is located in the fuel tank. here's how its done:

1. disconnect the battery (its just a safety protocol)
2. elevate vehicle.
3. mark and remove the drive shaft. (trust me it relieves a lot of head ache)
4. place a jack or lift of some sort under the tank and support it firmly, now remove the belt straps that secure the tank to the chassis.
5. disconnect the terminals form the fuel pump. (the fuel pump will have 2-3 hoses coming out of it and should be handled carefully)
6. using a fuel line disconnect tool remove the fuel inlet, outlet, and EVAP lines.
7. with a large hammer (rubber mallet or dead blow hammers work best) and a screw driver or a blunt chisel tap in a counter-clock wise direction to unthread the hold down ring on the fuel pump.
8. remove the fuel pump ( and also place a cover over the fuel tank, as this is the part where the largest amount of debris can get into the tank)
9. now assemble the components (it required) to the fuel pump mountings.
10. install the new fuel pump. and secure CORRECTLY to the tank.
11. reverse the instructions and be sure ot assemble the drive shaft to your marks as this can cause an obnoxious vibration or noise later after re-assembly.

I have a 2000 Denali that just turned over 200,000 and has never given me any problem until 2 weeks ago. I went to start it and it turned over and acted like it wasn't getting any fuel but wouldn't start...

Well, if you jumped the battery and it started, maybe you need a new battery. Get that checked out first. Also, when was the air filter replaced? I would probably take to an indy shop if it wasn't the battery or air filter because it could be a bunch of things: starter, fuel pump, fuel filter or fuel injectors.
