The fender is spot welded on.You will have to use a special spotweld drill bit that cuts around the outside of the spotweld. you drill through 1 layer only and use a screwdriver to separate. When you get all the welds drilled you just grind the spotwelds flush and weld on new fender. Good Luck.

1993 Ford f150, driver's side door catches on the front finder when you try to open it

Fender needs adjusted. Loosen the bolts on top, pry the fender forward, hold it there and tighten the bolts. There should be about 1/4 inch gap between the fender and door.

How do Ireplace front fenders on a venture van

Should be able to find all the bolts to the inner fender panel and remove, then any holding fender to grill or bumper, then under hood bolts along top edge, then open door (carefully) and remove any bolts between door and fender, and may be one more at bottom rear of fender. Keep all shims and mark them to go back in same location, but be aware new part may not be identical to part removed, thus some further adjustment with shims may be needed. I often use masking tape on the edges of fenders and doors to help prevent chipping paint.

How do you remove a fender?

Front fender? Lift the hood, open the front door on the same side as the fender to be removed. Under the rim of the hood, you'll find a line of bolts holding the top of the fender in place. Inside the door opening, you'll find one or two more bolts holding the rear of the fender in place. You may also find one bolt under the rear corner of the fender, fully underneath the vehicle. You'll also need to remove the turn signal housing, any side marker light, and possibly the headlight - all with screws - and you may still find one bolt up front, where a steel strut holds the frontmost bottom corner of the fender in place.

When you get all those fasteners removed, you pretty much just wiggle the fender off the car.

1990 chevy gladiator van steering column has came loose. It is floppy, how and what is the best way to correct this.

I will assume you really have a G10-20-30 van.(half/ 3/4 or 1 ton full size van)
The fifth digit of your vin should be a G.
Not the 2wheel drive pickup indicated.
That being said, your Gadiator is an aftermarket conversion van with a loose column.
This would have to be a loose tilt bowl on the steering column.
After removing the steering wheel and lock plate, you will find four inverted torx bolts that hold the tilt bowl to the column. Two will be backed way out and loose.Remove these bolts and appy loc tite to the bolt threads, then reassemble.

Where is the themostat on 1989 chevy g10 van. The heater is not working very well

Hello Grewder.
If you follow the large hose on the top of the radiator to the other end on the engine, you will find it under the housing the hose is attached to.
Two bolts to remove the housing, don't do it hot or under pressure.
Drain a gallon or so out of the rad to minimize spilling.
Clean the gasket surfaces and replace the thermostat and gasket.
Make sure you keep the thermostat in the groove before tightening the bolts. If it moves out you will crack the housing.
I hope your repair goes well for you.
