The cap should be marked. Look on the cap, numbers should be stamped next to the connections.

Hi there, i need to see a diagram of the spark plug leads for theleft and right side and the positions on the distributor cap. can you help? thanks Serge

The way to do that is get the firing order of the engine and the rotation. The # 1 position is usually marked on the distributer cap. If the rotor turns clockwise the wires on the cap will be in the fireing order sequence on the cap in a clockwise direction. If the order is 1432 , 1 to # 1 plug next on the cap in a clockwise rotation on the cap is 4 goes to #4 plug and next is 3 to #3 plug etc.

Could be OVP (overvoltage protection relay), coil, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, and/or duty cycle setting. Go to benzworld dot org for better specific questions answered.

I need a 1992 mercedes 400 se sparkplug wiring diagram

most older mercedes benz firing orders are written on valve cover. I beleive it will tell you on one of the rear intake manifold runners. the way a benz engine cylinders are marked they read-1 2 3 4 on the l(passanger side) and 5 6 7 8 on the r(drivers side) unstead of 1 3 5 7 and 2 4 6 8. maybe this will help you good luck getting the plug sires back into the plastic troughs.
