Question about 2003 Toyota RAV4

1 Answer

I have a problem with my 2003 rav4. There is a vibration whenever I go over 40 mph and it gets more or less intense depending on the exact speed I am going. Also, it becomes quieter when I turn my wheel to the right and louder when I turn to the left.

check your engine mount for play as a weak mount causes exhaust to vibrate could also be a heatshield not fitted properly

I would start with the easiest and get your wheel balance checked.

M,y 2003 rav4 4wd steering wheel vibrates at high speed

the vibration can be your tires, it may need balance, or the tire is out of round. I had seen the tires wear unevenly can cause this. what I mean is because this 4 wheel all the time design, if any of the tire is worn more than the rest can also do that.
the noise is a different thing, it can be a ball joint or tie rod end
