I had the same problem. The solution was to replace the remote control lock module. the had to reprogram both ignition keys as part of the repair. Sounds crazy but it fixed the problem. The solution was in a Dodge tech bulletin.

Still should be under bumper to bumper warranty. As long as you are within 3 years, or 36,000 miles.

Since its an 08 it may be under warranty. Before doing your own costly repairs you should contact a dealer. If it is under warranty and you worked on it they may refuse to cover it.

The horn on my 2008 Dodge Charger isn't working the fuse is burnt can't find it

Being a 2008, your Charger should still be covered under warranty. Take advantage of your warranty and have the dealer address the horn issue your having. There is a short that has caused your horn fuse to go bad.

Thank you for using fixya and be safe

Where is the fuse for the air conditioner and what is the ampage

I know this may sound sarcastic but, it should be in your owners manual which & where the fuse is, but I'm guessing you've somehow misplaced it. It could be under dash on drivers side in fuse panel, or under hood in power distribution box, or might be labeled relay/fuse box. Look on underside of cover if under hood, but all are usually labeled & size of fuse as well when under dash.

Clock not available

I took the truck back for warranty work and this was the dealer's explanation: This is a known, but rare, glitch in the radio. It is not widespread enough for Dodge to issue a bulletin, but there is a write-up in the computer system that Dodge technicians access that covers this. The "repair" is to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and/or remove the IOD (Ignition Off Draw fuse(s)). The radio then "resets" itself. If the problem persists, they have to replace a component of the radio system.

2008 Dodge Durango Transmission Problem

I would take it to a transmission shop and ask them to diagnose the problem but do NOT repair it yet. If the diagnostic shows something wrong, take the test results to the dealer and see if it is covered under warranty. If it is, they should reimburse you for the diagnostic as well as repair it under warranty.
