Hi, you may have a torn brake booster diaphram. Try disconnecting the brake booster and plugging the hose with a rag. Don't drive it without the booster, but set the parking brake and see how it runs in the driveway. If this clears up the problem, replace the booster.
Here are a few things to check out. The intake ducting between the MAF and the throttle body must be air tight. Any air getting in that doesn't go thru the throttle body will cause idling problems and surging. Make sure the air filter is fresh. Replace the PCV valve, and finally, check the egr valve for leakage. Good luck. Hope this helps.
