Question about Chevrolet Cobalt

1 Answer

Hi I bought a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt last week. I just noticed that, when making a U turn, the steering wheel does not turn in a perfect circle. It goes 'up and down' a little bit. Nothing is loose, though. I am freaked out. Please help! Thank you.

The steering wheel is not a perfect circle so it is normal. they are designed to fold in an impact

How can I get key out which is stuck in ignition of 2008 cobalt. It also won't start

This can happen if the battery is low / dead. To solve, connect a set of jumper cables between the battery in the Cobalt and a running car's battery. Shut off the running car. In the Cobalt, make sure all accessories (lights, radio, fan, etc.) are off. Step on the brake, then move the gear shifter fully into the PARK position. Next, either attempt to start the engine, or turn the key to the OFF position and remove it from the ignition.

I hope this helps & good luck!

Cant get 2008 cobalt to start. lights come on but engine wont turn over and steering wheel will not turn

If you hear the clikclik sound when you turn ON your key, that means your battery is weak even light can turn ON, but the engine it can't; The starter are the same, but you need to make sure that the battery is fully charge that can able to start the engine. ok

Have you got the correct key??

Spray some CRC into the key hole.
