Hi, lets start with the basic make sure we have a fully charge battery first because this can make a difference in reading. fully charge battery is 12.6 volts. if this is good . Lets cut off all accessory in side ,then start your van ,go to battery with your volt meter and car running you should have 14.5 volts ,if more then 14.8 volts regulator is over charging if less then 14 volts its under charging . then you will need an alternator as far as i know you cant buy just the regulator its inside alternator. If i can help you please re post. Thanks dodge tec

It is built into the Alternator as best I recall. Have the alternator tested at Auto Zone or Advance Auto and that will indicate if there is a problem.

I have a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan Crew with the V6. My battery light will come on when first cranked. Stop and restart and light goes out. Battery load and alternator check normal. Diodes going bad?

if the alternator was properly checked , the rectifier would have shown a problem
just putting a multimeter on the battery is not checking
the alternator has to be removed and bench tested where the voltage regulator is tested ( if internal) , the maximum current is checked and the voltage is ac or dc indicating rectifier pack
it is then refitted and the voltage regulator if external is checked and if the voltage is in the ECM that is also checked

Voltage regulator is internal to the Alternator. You have to replace the Alternator.

My 1990 dodge caravan wouldnt start when I returned to it. It sarted to and now it just cranks over. I get spark and I primed the throttle body and got it to fire. I checked for fuel delivery by removing...

The fuel pump rela is located under the hood, driver side, front side of strut tower, rear of headlight, mounted on inner fender well.
However I do suggest jumping the fuel pump to see if pump turns on. Test voltage from ECM if needed. If voltage is to pump, then pump is shot. If not voltage, relay may be bad.
If pump works on jumping it you may have to try and start 5-10 times aka couple minutes. If pressure is still not building and pump is on, then you may want to consider testing the fuel pressure regulator. voltage regulator will handle amount of fuel pressure being delivered to the system. You can test with voltmeter to see if you are getting any voltage to the regulator.

I have a 1990 dodge caravan that will not charge

use a volt meter and check the voltage with the engine off. should be 12 volts then check again with engine running it should be 13 to 15 volts if no then the pcm is at fault. the voltage regulator is inside the computer control and you will need to have it checked out at a dealership. if bad will have to replace the computer on van to correct the charging system. hope this will help!!!

Passenger side window not working

could be a bad motor, regulator, or switch

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. you can then test out the switch and if it's not the switch, you'll need to pull back the weather seal to get to the regulator and motor
