Question about 1998 Jeep Cherokee
My Clock, radio & CD Display panel lights have just gone off..have no sound from either Radio or CD's at all..and also have been driving for a while now with the airbag lights going on followed by the speedometer dropping to zero and then guessing my speed around for a good five minutes before it all starts working again..(not the radio, Cd bit..that's just gone and is still off..have had the fuses checked but that's all good..) .Help!!!
There is a test you can run to find out if its your dash panel or computer.
Hold the Trip reset button in while turning the ignition switch on(dont need to start it) it will run a self test mode going through every gauge and light on your panel...

Hi, there is a connector behind the dash that likes to get dirty and create this problem. The connector is behind the instrument cluster. Clean it really well, put some dielectric grease on the connections and re-install. There happens to be a TSB (Tech Service Bulletin) by Chrysler on this problem.
