Heater wont come on

The blower motor is under the dash where the passengers feet go. If you look, you can see the motor. Check the fuses first and if they are ok, smack the motor housing and see if it starts..You can remove the screws that hold the motor and it will drop out. Unhook the electrical connection and take it into an autoparts store. They are about 100 dollars. They wear out the brushes and stop turning, it is common.

2002 Chevy blazer blower motor Keeps

Well, the resistor is probably shot. Problem is that it melted wires as it was going out. And now it is shorted to a hot wire. Blowers and the controls runoff the ignition run wire. Good thing is that the wires usually burn near the blower or resistor. Bad thing is that they could also burn by the fuse panel or the ignition switch. Are you good with a multimeter?

Heater only works when it's on the highest setting (I believe it's the blower setting). Can't get the windshield wiper sprayer to work. Reservoir is completely full!

Heater: make sure temperature slider is all the way to the red /hot zone. This is a different slider than the one for blower speed. Blower setting will not change the temperature. Sprayer: 1) make sure rubber hose from tank to sprayer is purged (full of water). If unpurged, water wont reach sprayer. 2) make sure that hose did not detach. 3) Can you hear the water pump running when activating the sprayer? maybe cable became unhooked or pump is shot.

Key wont pull out with the batery hooked up

this is a safety feature so that someone cant just run up to your car, turn the engine off and yank the key out. Usually there are 2 way to remove the key..

1.) There is a switch under the ignition or thereabout which you need to hold down as you shut the engine off and pull the key out. After which you can release the switch..

2.) turn the engine off as well as the ignition (all the dash lights go off) rock the stearing left and right while you pull the key out. This locks the stearing and releases the key.

AC BLOWER FAN STAYS ON IN MY HUMMER H2 (2003) AFTER IGNITION IS SWITCHED OFF- WHY WOULD THIS OCCUR?...

When does it go off (the fan). I assume it does, sooner or later, go off? Some blowers (high-end vehicles) stay on a little longer to clear moisture, but if this just started (hasn't happened since day one) then I would assume it is a short (pray it isn't) or the blower cutoff relay/blower motor relay. If neither relay is available for that car, it could be built-in to the motor. Then, try to unhook the motor and put a tester on the connection plug going into the motor and see if you can get power with the car on, and watch it disappear once the car is turned off, that indicates it is the motor or the resistor atop the motor.

check fuses, check power and ground at blower motor.if the blower has only one speed it will mean a resistor is shot.an easy test if blower is not working at all is to turn blower on hi and tap on the bottom of blower motor with hammer if the blower motor kicks in then you know the motor is the problem.if the motor still does not work, the wiring to the switch and the switch will need to be tested,if the wiring and switch are ok,then replace the blower motor.
