The clicking sound that you hear is most likely the starter solenoid,,so there is a chance that either the solenoid is bad or the starter itself is bad --- replace.
**** now I know that you said that " it is not the battery ', but most of the time when the solenoid is just clicking like that, it is a sign that there is not enough voltage / amps to engage the starter,, just to totally sign off on the battery -- try and jump start the car using another car or a fully charged jumper pack,, if it still does not start then it is the solenoid or starter ( which are sold as a complete unit together ) -- replace it and all should be back to normal.

Flat battery when i try to jump start it just clicks

Your battery connections are dirty or loose...the clicking is a normal sign as the battery is not charged enough to properly crank your motor...when you do get it started...drive to your nearby auto parts store for a free battery check. Hope this helps.

Car won't start. New battery installed recently. Only clicks when trying to start.

one single click any time you turn the key usually indicates a bad solenoid on the starter. A new starter will typical get you going.

A series of rapid clicks when you try to start usually indicates a weak battery. There could also be a bad connection at the terminals on the battery or even a poor connection at the starter.

If you get a single click and everything goes dead for a couple of seconds than you definitely have a bad connection at the battery.

Let me know what you find or if you have any questions.

My denali will only click when i try to start it. what could it be?

most likely you have a low battery, try to jump start the truck, you may have to leave the jumper cables hooked up for a wile before trying to start the engine, if after the battery is charged the truck still just clicks, try cleaning the battery terminals, if still no luck you will need to remove the starter and have it tested and repaid.

I think my starter solenoid is bad. When I try to start my truck it will turn over and then start clicking?

I think your battery is the more likely the problem. If the solenoid did not engage you would hear a high pitch whine with no click. The clicking is the solenoid trying to engage the starter gear but it only initially engages until the battery current drops causing it to oscillate. Turn on your dome light and see if it dims when you try to start it. If it does try to charge or jump the battery.

Go to turn the vehicle on - where the dash lights all light up - then turn to start the truck and things go blank - then I start hearing these "click" "click" "click" sounds

It sounds like what you need to do is check your batteries. Clean the cables and terminals very well, then tried again. If it still won't start your battery might be dead. Jump it or charge it and tried again. If it starts but later I will not start you might have a charging system problem or a bad batteries.

Car will not start. A clicking noise when trying

It's either a dead battery or loose/rusty battery terminals, try to pour hot water on battery terminals and then tighten them if loose, if still it doesn't start and keep clicking and if you had the battery for more than 4 years then install a new battery (you can get a good one for around $50, don't buy expensive ones they do the same job). Hope it helps and please don't forget to rate the answer it helps me with my general ratings, thanks!

Clicking noise when trying to start car, battery is ok, wont start

That Clicking is the Battery causing it not to Start. You need to Replace that Battery or at Least put a Charger on it for a Couple of hours to see if you can Salvage it for a While.
