Fuses wont help. If the fuel pump isn't working, then you need to change it. Second thing, maybe its not a fuel pump, if you will describe the problem we could find out is it realy fuel pump fault.

It is very likely that the immobiliser blocks the power to the fuel pump. I had same story with mitsubishi. It will help if you will check that, before change any parts. If that is the problem, then go to car dismantlers and find car with the same engine, body tipe and everything else and take out the computer(microsheme) immobiliser(microsheme and the sensor ring) and the key. Fit all that to your car. That way you will avoid mess with reprogramming and sinchronising.

Dont forget to take the locks.

Probably an accelerator shaft seal leaking. Best discuss it with a diesel pump rebuilder as it may be an easy fix or expensive.

No power to fuel pump

Check for a bad FP relay. I don't know where it is on your car, possibly in the fusebox by the battery. Did you verify pump is good?

What is the best way to deal with 2 gallons of gas in 2003 TDI? I can't get a hose in deep enough to siphon it. Am thinking about removing line to fuel pump.

FOR TDI ENGINES WHICH IS TURBO DIESEL INJECTION. THE FUEL SYSTEM CONSISTS OF FUEL INJECTION PUMP WHICH DRAW FUEL FROM FUEL TANK THROUGH A FUEL FILTER NO OTHER FUEL PUMP IS USED. YOUR FUEL INJECTION PUMP HAS A ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP BUILT INSIDE INJECTION PUMP ITSELF YOU DONT HAVE TO DROP FUEL TANK.FUEL PUMP IS UNDER THE HOOD.YOUR FUEL INJECTION PUMP IS THE FUEL SUPPLY PUMP.

SOUND LIKE DIESEL INJECTION PUMP IS DRY.YOU GOING TO HAVE TO USE A HAND HELD VACUUM PUMP.HOOK IT TO THE RETURN LINE FITTING AND DRAW FUEL INTO THE FUEL INJECTION PUMP.

1996 turbo deisel fuel and oil leak.

The fuel pump is located under the turbo on that truck. It is most likley washing sediment/old fluids out of the vally of toyr engine. It is also driven by a push rod that ths cam drives, so the lower pump o-ring may be leaking too. You can change the fuel pump without pulling the turbo. Good Luck
