I have a 1999 VW Beetle and it's not running on all 4 cylinders. It's only running on 3 cylinders.

Probably runs better on three cylinders than most american made cars do on four! LOL.

Is that cylinder getting spark? Is the injector working? Plug fouled?

0.8 mm. if it is the single spark option. If you have the tri spark plugs then they are pre gapped.

My 1999 vw beetle is burning gas im getting my spark plugs changed tomorrow will it fix it? what else could be wrong? it is still starting up but it is a little shaky and doesnt seem like it wants to...

Wouldn't be a bad idea to also put on a set of good quality spark plug wires while you're at it.

I think I'd also invest in a new air filter.

Hopefully this will take care of your fuel consumption issue.

My 1999 vw beetle sat for two years and now will not start ..its getting fuel but i dont think its gettin spark... what could it be?

Remove the spark plugs and Clean or ideally replace them. If the fuel is there, and you are satisfied no other Ignition/Start faults are present, then this is your problem.

With the intake where it is this can be verry hard. You may have to pull the intake manifole to get it done. I can pull 1,3,4 but 2 is a problem. Check with a good auto parts store many times they have people with mechanical skills and loaner tools.
