With truck on level ground and at normal running temp, climb under it unscrew filler screw and fluid should just trickle out.

Can't find my transmission fluid dip stick under

If you can't find one than there is likely not one. Look under the vehicle at the transmission pan. If you see a large nut with a smaller screw in the middle you just found the transmission dipstick. With the engine running and the transmission up to operating temp remove the center screw. If no fluid drips out the transmission than you will need to add some. Lisle tool makes a tool that inserts into the opening all you will need is a hose and a pump. If fluid comes out the hole than the fluid is full and none needs to be added. Do not take out the center screw with the engine off. This will be counter productive!

How do I add transmission fluid to a 1999 Ford Expedition

The vehicle should have a dip stick where you can check the transmission fluid, that same place where you pull the trani dip stick out is where you refill it. Remember to keep the vehicle running for a couple minutes before checking the level and do not turn it off, unless you filling it up or adding some fluid. If there is no dip stick then you will most likely have to go to the dealorship and have them take a look, in some cases depeding on model the dip stick will not be there.

Hope this Helps!

Where do i put transmission fluid

You add fluid through the same pipe that the Dip stick for the transmission is located. Remove the transmission dip stick and insert a funnel in that same pipe and add fluid there. Never add more than about a pint of fluid at a time. Unlike the engine where you typically add a quart at a time when it is at the add mark in the Transmission you will add a pint if it is at the Add mark.

Wheres the dip stick 4 transmission fluid

The trans that is in your Explorer does not have a dip stick. It has a fill/drain plug in the trans pan that is used to fill and check the fluid level in your trans.
