Question about 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT
This could be a few things fuel pump getting weak or your alarm could of activated itself and it disables the fuel to the engine, I would try reseting the built in alarm system. first put the key in the ignition and turn on till all the lights come on and let it sit 10 minutes with the key on, then after the 10 minutes is over turn the key to the off position and wait 3 seconds and then try to start. if it starts which is possible because grand ams and olds aleros are bad for the security system locking up by them self. Hope this helps.
