Question about 1990 Chevrolet K1500
Hi, a very common problem is corroded wires or in the connection to the 4x4 module. The module is located behind the kick panel on the passengers side. If you engage the 4 wheel drive and hear a "rattling noise" coming from that area, that is your problem. If you don't hear anything noise in the cabin, it is probably the actuator...
You should replace the actuator.....
