SOURCE: where is ccoling temp sender 1.6 96 nissan 200sx

This is for the 2 litre SR20DET engine so not sure if that's what you have - never heard of a 1.6 version. Below is the exploded diagram and a test for the sensor.

SOURCE: Removing a alternator

Use a piece ot 2by1 put between the alternator and the block, lever the alternator away from the block gently while rocking it up and down.
You will see a small spacer, tube shaped, that tends to jamb against the bottom bracket..
Just to clarify, you have taken out the top bolt,in a long slot for adjusting the belts tension, and the two lower bolts, 1 at front and 1 at rear of alternator.

SOURCE: 96 nissan 200sx is it obd2 ready

yes it has an obd2 diagnostic plug The trouble codes that are required by law on all OBD II systems are "generic" in the sense that all vehicle manufacturers use the same common code list and the same 16-pin diagnostic connector. Thus, a P0302 misfire code on a Nissan means the same thing on a Honda Toyota or Mercedes-Benz. But each vehicle manufacturer also has the freedom to add their own "enhanced" codes to provide even more detailed information about various faults

Cannot remove the passenger side axle on a 1996 200sx Nissan

if you mean the transmission end ! put a pan under transmission to catch the fluid. use a bar, or big screwdriver to pry axle out of transmission. when putting back in, make sure the axle snap ring is tightly locked in transmission.

96 nissan 200sx started and ran rough for 10 sec then died and wont restart. distributor is turning. no fault codes. has good fuel pressure. spark looked weak so i changed cap and rotor. still wont start....

something to ponder over here as iam not sure what could be the problem here but if its a weak spark then it could be module /coil/crank sensor in that order .These problems will not show up as fault codes i dont think as they are working but not to full efficiency

Hello, My 96 nissan 200sx ac only works on num 4, is it a bad switch are what?

It's the diode block. The switch is fine, but the diode block controls the speeds. It's about a $20 part and located under the dash next to the fan on the passenger side. It's held in with two screws and shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to replace.
