The interior lights wont turn off even when the car is off. What should I do?

Usually when that is case you need to look for a dimmer roller which is usually to the left of the steering wheel. If it was rolled all the way beyond the brightest setting it turns the interior lights on regardless of whether the car is on or not

1999 Mazda millenia Electrical issues

the first thing to do is to remove the wires your sister conected, tape them seperately, these wires are power and ground wires and power the light in the visor mirror , they can not touch, so make sure they are apart and not touching any metal surface, tape them, one at a time.

there must be a blown fuse, did you check all the fuse boxes? there is one inside and one under the hood. start with this .

The inside ligths not working

You have 3 fuses and one fuseable link that powers the BCM(body control module) these are in the engine junction fuse box and one fusable link on the battery positive terminal, if one or more are open the interior will not operate

1998 dodge caravan my headligths wont turn off .the ligths still on even turning the headligts switch off.and the only way to turned off went i take the relay my interior lights wont turn on.if...

Hi, try disconnecting the connector from the headlight switch. If this doesn't turn the lights off, the problem is the body control module. If disconnecting the headlight switch DOES turn the lights orff, replace the headlight switch. You can probably get a used body control module from a salvage yard. They may also have the headlight switch, but you can get those at your local parts chain. To access the switch, pull the bezel straight out as shown below. The BCM is behind the fuse panel as shown below. Please let me know if you have any questions, anmd thanks for using FixYa.

My car makes a tic/click when I turn on the lights, also the head ligths go dim and then bright as do teh interior lights? Do I just need to change a fuse?

No a fuse would have completely blown out the lights making them unusable. I had a similar issue in my altima where the lights would flicker and I had to replace the alternator. Good luck.

All lights in my 2005 Jetta are out and buttons do not work.

I presume cero ligths (Fronts, Rears, Interior, panel and so on). This is a very rare problem because circuits are "independent", any way, start checking fuses. If they are ok, probably one of the harnesses is disconnected or with a false contact ( very rare, however it happens). You have to check the harnesses of the Main switch (key), and front ligths.

Good luck.

Windows wont roll up, changed fuse for delay and it keeps blowing when car is turned on

You have a short somewhere in the wiring, which is causing your fuses to blow. Unless you are comfortable taking apart large parts of your interior, I would suggest taking this to a mechanic.

Turn the key on, nothing happen, no ligths inside nothing

1) Battery cables disconnected 2) Battery dead, probably shorted. Any other electrical problem, would leave some systems alive. A run down battery that wont turn over the engine, will still be able to power dome lights, or other accesories.
