Question about 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena
Try and disconnect the car battery again, leave it off for about 3 hours to flatten the battery on the on-board computer, then reconnect in this order, red lead first then the black. this often will reset the code on the ECU.
Does this model have any key locks? or purely remote only? get back to me with that info and I may have another suggestion for you.
p.s was the car open / unlocked when you removed the old battery or was it locked ???

if it is a aftermarket alarm, get rid of the alarm, or unlock and lock door w/ key am alarms are a problem when they go awry
