Question about 2002 Honda Civic

2 Answers

The left front turn signal does not work. The bulb is not the problem. The bulb works for the running lights. The wire, (green with yellow stripe does not appear to be getting any current when the signal light is switched on. Would this be a relay, flasher, fuse? Any suggestions ? Thanks

1996 dodge ram 1500 trailer plug wiring diagram

The diagram does not show separate wires for turns, so you don't need an adapter. The left signal/brake wire is green with a red stripe. The right is green with a brown stripe. The running lights are on the black wire with a yellow stripe.

I have a pre fab wiring harness on my trailer with 6 wires: Violet/white strip, Violet/orange stripe, Yellow/green stripe, Green, Black/white stripe, Gray/orange stripe. I only need to run a flat plug (4)...

I assume you only want lights, brake lights and signals. Your best bet is to plug a wire onto your truck... the flat plug, and turn , first the left signal, on. Use a test light to see which part of the plug in is flashing. Once you have established that, just keep plugging the other end of the wire into the trailer plug, until you get the left turn signal flashing on the trailer. Then repeat the process for lights etc.
You can also take the plug-in apart on the trailer. Inside the plug in it will have l/t, r/t, s, etc. (left turn, right turn, stop, etc.) There will be a very small arrow pointing to the terminal connection that is for each.

Replacing front turn signal socket on 1990 dodge shadow

Okay. Hook black to black.
Green to green with white stripe.
Yellow to red with white stripe.
That should work. Nothing is going to blow up if it's wrong. It just won't work.

ok the easiest way to check is to take a voltage probe and check each wire this way it will tell you which wire is recieving current. the positive side should be marked either red, yellow or green with black stripe and sometimes orange. on the ground side it should be marked black, white, turn signals should be green for right side and yellow with black stripe for left. running and parking lights should be brown. back up lights are marked blue.
