I jacked the front end of my van up to change my brakes and noticed my wheel is moving back and forth pretty bad. Could that be axel bearing problem or tie rod or what?

if you grab the wheel top and bottom and it moves top in out , I would suspect wheel bearings ( noisy when spinning the wheel)
it could also be ball joints of the suspension
if you grab the wheel front and back and there is movement it is tie rod ends
have a friend do the wheel movement while you visually inspect the parts
finish the brake job then take the vehicle to an accredited suspension service shop and have a full safety inspection done

Location of BCM and ECM on 92 olds. toronado

I'm not 100% positive about a 1992 Toronado, but on my 1986 Toronado the BCM is behind and to the upper left of the glove box, and the ECM is behind the right side kick panel in front of the door. GM had a habit of moving them around from year to year.

How do I replace the front wheel bearing in a 1995 ford taurus?

first off, sell the car and by another one, ford taurus is a very dear car to fix, let alone the wheel bearing will cost more then 2 tanks of gas, otherwise it is not an easy home doing job, you need special circlip pliers, a hammer at least a 3 tonne hydraulic press and a good eye for line up, most mechanics will do this but it is a bit hard to remove the actual wheel bearing if you never have done one. remember if the wheel bearing is one millimeter off it will grind like hell.

looks like they have a sealed bearing and are sold as a bearing hub assy for about $140. to replace it remove the wheel, then the cotter pin and nut in the center of the hub. then pull the hub/bearing off. this is easier said than done but with penetrating oil, hard work, and a large hammer you should be able to remove it.

What needs to be done to remove & repack wheel bearings? Left front is starting to make noise

Almost all newer cars the front wheel bearings are a sealed unit. There isn't a way to remove and repack like the old style bearings. More than likely if it gets too bad, you will need to replace the hub assembly.

Front Wheel Bearings for 91 Tempo

You'd have to take the car to a shop, the front bearing have to be pressed in unlike the rear bearings.

I've had the driver side bearing go out, and now the passenger side is GOING out. But yeah, unless you have the machinery at home to do it, you'll need to go to a mechanic.

No fun I know. I've got a 92 Tempo

2002 dodge ram 4WD front hub bearing

Here is the easiest way . take a 14mm socket and extentsion and place it on the bolts and place againt your axle tube and start your truck and turn your wheel against it instead of pounding you will use your powersteering like a press to get your hub out its quicker and less strenous than pounding on the bolts ive done this many times i even made a extentsion for it i use a 14mm 1/2 drive shallow socket and a extension thats about 4 inches long i know im posting late on this one but if it helps anyone out then great

Rear shocks have inflated fully and will not go back down

it would be cheaper to replace the shocks with the same as you have on the car now. otherwise you have to have other things done to the car to make new different shocks workfor the car
