If you want a quick check of the blend door system, clamp off the heater hoses,as you would if you were changing a heater core and drive as you would.Do not disconnect them, just clamp them.
Also, don't over look air flow through the a/c condenser at the front, any restriction of air flow or a slow fan or only one running of 2 when 2 are needed?

I have a 2000 pontiac grand prix with a digital climate control system. The heat quit working, it doesn't blow out any heat. Now that it is warm outside the air stopped blowing out any air. The digital temperature on the climate control is not correct. When it states that it is below 30 degrees on the ext and it is warm outside the air wont be cold. Once it starts going above 30 degrees the air gets colder. Today the blower stop working all together. Was told it maybe the climate control unit was bad. You can hear the door opening/shutting when you switch the temp from cold to hot. But there was no heat blowing out whatsoever in the winter time. Could you please give me your opinion on whether or not it is the climate control unit or something else?

2004 XG350 - when the outside temperature is in the 40's to low 50's, I set the temperature at 78 degrees and never raise or lower it. The car warms up quickly, but after about 15 - 20 minutes (in my 45...

I also own a 2004 XG 350 and I agree with you. The first thought that comes to mind is a malfunction in the Auto AC control module (that's the virtical console unit which you adjust the fan speed, Auto, Mode, Recirculate, etc. are located). The other thought which occurs to me is that you might have a 'low engine coolant' condition (but that would eventually turn on your "Check Engine Light" and a code would be set indicating the Thermostat was not working properly). Did the Svc Mgr scan your vehicle for any DTC's (Diagnostic Trouble Codes)? If he didn't (or if he didn't have a technician do it), then you'll want to have that done so you'll at least know this may not be the problem. Sometimes the thermostat can stick 'OPEN" and the engine doesn't reach it's operating temperature (which is where you get the heat to warm up the inside of the car)... so, if the engine is 'COLD' so would also be the coolant and it's the coolant that brings the heat into the passenger compartment (via the heater core).

Have the orphis tube filter checked, Its inline and requires a shop to do it, But if its clogged this means the compressor is failing and will contaminate the whole system if not repaired

2004 Chevy Silverado AC is blowing warm air on passenger side.

You have dual zones that are controlled by temperature actuators the passenger side has lost its memory or has gone bad you can put it in self programming by disconnecting the battery for ten minutes then hook it back up start the truck turn the temperature control on but do not touch any other controls let it go thru the self programming for about 6 to 7 minutes then select your temperature you want if it still does not work properly you may have a bad actuator or a bad connection at the actuator
