Hello ricmill.

Your Chevy takes a coolant specification that is called Dexcool.
The color of it is orange and clear, not clouded.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using FixYA.

2001 Chevy Malibu hesitates after warming up? It seem more like a jerk or hestitation. When I release the gas, then press again it fine

The hesitation could be caused by your auto transmission. I'd check the fluid level first and smell it for a (strong) burnt odor. The fluid's color should be a sort of transparant reddish color. if the fluid is dark or brown, then there's a good chance of a severe tranny problem.
However, a fluid & filter change could also fix the problem.

I have a 2001 Chevy Malibu the overflow bucket keeps losing tha fluid and running hot but I don't see anything on the ground

could be leaking while your driving down the road. check the bottom of the hood and see if the cooling pump is spraying the coolant around(the coolant that comes Chevys is sometimes very corosive to the aluminum parts in your coolant system). should be a wet spot by were your belts are if the pump is leaking. try fushing your coolant.

I have a 2001 chevy malibu with 3.1 v-6 i replaced lower intake gaskets at 90,000 miles now at 168,000 i have oil in my antifreeze. also when i replaced lower intake gaskets i flushed cooling system and...

Dexcool does not cause leaks, but it should not be mixed with other antifreeze. Is it possible that the oil in the antifreeze is transmission fluid from a worn out radiator? The radiator cools the engine and the trans, and internally , the radiator may have ruptured?
