Try spraying it with some of that stuff you use to unfreeze door locks or check the wiring hopefully that isnt the problem.

Want to demobilise automatic door lock

Easy enough to do. You could identify the fuse that does this, or disconnect the wire from the speedometer, or pull and tape one of the solenoid wires in all of the doors. Depends on which is easiest.

I have a 2002 Camry and only the drivers side window will go down. the service rep at the dealer ship told me to check the window lock. where is that located? thanks

it's located on the switch panel on the drivers door. you have one switch for each window, and one for the power locks. the remaining switch is for the window lockout. press it down & release it. the other windows should now work!

How can I program the door locks on my 2002 Camry so they do not lock when you put the car in gear?

Put the key in the ignition, turn to the on position. Open the driver's door and remove the key (keep door open). Put the key in and out 4 times (in/ out only without any turning of the key) with the key out at the end. Hit drivers side unlock button 5 times. Wait at least ten seconds and shut the driver's door. Away you go. It will stay like this unless you remove the cars battery - if so you will have to do that sequence again. Works for most if not all toyotas

1999 Toyota Camry door lock and unlock issues

I believe this was done as a safety feature. It stops a potential car hyjacker from sneaking in the passenger door when you open the driver door. I know recent Hyundai models are set up such that if you turn the key in the driver's door once it only unlocks the driver's door. If you turn it twice in quick succession it unlocks all of the doors. Maybe the Camry is set up the same way.

Door locks automaticly

Carry a spare key in a magnetic box on the car somewhere. I do. ($1.80 at Ace)

My jeep does this too but only if the Motor was running.

It was a real pain in winter when I'd start the car, kick on the heater then grab the scraper and hit the windows, The door would sometimes close and lock me out of a running car... in winter... in light clothes... at 4AM!
Now I just grab the spare key.

I am sure yours is a function of the built-in alarm system on the Camry and a wire needs only be disconnected or fuse pulled.. but I do not know that car (yet)
Good luck!

FACTORY ALARM CAMRY TOYOTA 2002 WENT OFF WHEN i WAS DRIVING

If your remote is attached to the key in the ignition, it could have been bumped setting off the alarm. It is also possible for the lock button to be depressed and lock the doors, if you do not notice this and get out of the car........!

The alarm is automatically set with me not even controlling it.

Go to a toyota dealer they can reprogram your settings on your car so it won't do that.
