You have to get the old oil out , if you do not have the modified pan with oil screw , then you meed to get the oil sucked out , then put the new oil in , make sure that you do not put more than recomended

SOURCE: I would like to change

I just had my oil changed in my 2006 deisel smart..and yes it had to be pumped out as they don't have a drain plug on a lot of the older modls. I understand that the newer ones have a plug.

SOURCE: Can I change the oill

Hello. Yes you can change the oil and the filter yourself. Yes the oil does have to be siphoned out but you can use a simple siphoning bulb and hose to do that. Here is a link on this topic that you will find helpful. Joe

I have a 2006 grand prix with noisy lifters.

No ,drain a drop of oil out of the engine say a litre then add a tin of gunk engine cleaner and a squirt of green proper fairy liquid ,then drive around for a few a few days and if the noise goes then change the oil and filter and use a multigrade oil for petrol and diesel engines and change often around 6000kms with a oil filter every third oil change ,if it doesnt work then renew the cam followers or trade it in for a newer car

I have a 2006 Suzuki Farenza, what type of motor oil should I use?

cheapest diesel/petrol oil you can buy 20/50 or 10/40 synthetic or natural ,change oil every 6000 and a oil filter every third oil change and it will run forever ,Do not use long life oils or listen to so called experts with clean fingernails -fleet mechanic here and i do know what lasts and and what doesnt ,changing oil at this mileage keeps the clag and acids down if you strip a engine at 500,000 miles you will see what i mean .

2006 f350 super duty diesel start good in the mornings but after is warm it wont start.

these trucks use a oil fired fuel injector, if your high pressure oil pump has eccessive wear or if your oil to broken down from being run to long between oil change, it will not build enough oil pressure to fire the injector once the oil is thinned out from being hot. An oil leak in your high pressure oil system can cause same problem.
