Could be your Tyre / tracking have a look for un-even wear.

If not, it sounds like the wheel bearing is worn.

Whining noise at speed 35/40 left front side wheel 2000 infinity qx4

Try driving at 35/40, so you can hear the noise, try swerving (just a little) to the left, if the noise goes away, when you swerve, you most likely have a bad wheel bearing on that side.

Whining noise progressively gets louder with speed

One wheel turning faster than the other is normal if both wheels are off the ground. If one wheel is dragging when the other wheel is on the ground, it could be brakes or a wheel hub bearing.
Usually if the noise happens on right turns, the left hub bearing is failing, and vice versa.

Whining noise off something at front either front wheels or gearbox

Hi,
It may be the front wheel bearing. A mechanic is needed to fix.

It may also be the CV axle....also requires a mechanic.

1999 ford explorer limited whining noise in front end

Whining noise is probably in one of the pulleys or belts. Probably the power steering. And the popping is probably CV axles.

The right front tire make a whining sound and when the steering wheel is turned to the left it gets louder.

Sounds like you have a bad wheel bearing. Sometimes you can jack up the wheel, in your case the right front) and with one hand spin the wheel while holding onto the front strut spring with the other. If you can feel the noise (sounds wierd but you can feel the noise) than the bearing is bad. It helps if the transmission is in neutral (make sure you secure the vehicle from moving while its in neutral)

Growling noise from front of my taurus while driving, it also makes a whining noise when i steer hard left. i had the right front wheel bearing changed but the noise's are still there. also the inner cv...

It sounds like the CV joint, no they are not supposed to be loose, free to move but not loose like you describe, sort the CV then look at the wheel bearing as I imagine all the noises will disguise others

Whining sound from front passenger side.

Check the condition of front disc brake pads, if they are in need of replacement a preset little metal arm starts rubbing the discs and will make a whining noise. It doesn't do any damage but it's irritating to listen to.

Whining sound in front end while driving seems to get louder when speed is above 60kmh

It could be chopped tires or a front wheel bearing. Rub your hand around the front and rear tires and see if they are un-even like a wash board. If they are they need replacing and will make a wierd whining noise that changes with the speed. The wheel bearings can also make this noise so check the tires and go from there. I hope this helps you.....Dan
