No you can't but if you go to a gm dealer they have a little bottle of repair connection fluid that works great. ask for rear window defoger repair. its about the size of a nail polish bottle, goes on the same, and even smells the same.

How to fix rear defrost on a 2000 ford escort.

You can try several things. There is a special adhesive for attaching mirrors to the windshield and this may help you secure the clips to the rear glass. But the second chemical may be harder to locate and identify. The second chemical is a liquid that conducts electricity. Burglar alarm companies use this to connect strips on plate glass windows. I would not use heat on your connections.

Some rear windows are easy to remove and you could replace the whole window with a different one and be done with it.

Reattach rear defrost cords to window?

There are some things like liquid solder that can be used to mend this, Another thing would be to go to a burglar alarm company dealing with glass windows, because the alarm tape is added to existing windows.

Buick rendezvous rear window's drivers side defroster wire is disconnected. I don't know how to fix it. Even when I hold the wire to the connection point, it doesn't spark or defrost anything.

If the defroster isn't burned out, you need to resolder the wire to the defroster. Chance are when your just holding the wire to the connection you're not getting enough contact to operate it.

Rearview mirror came off front window. How does one reattach it properly?

If you look at the mount you may or may not find a small set screw. Either way there is a small metal bracket that slides off of the mirror assembly. Take that out and glue it back on. Much easier than holding the whole mirror up there while it adheres to the glass. Super glue works but I would recommend Gorilla Glue.

Back defrost not working

There are two Electrical cables that are attached to the back window, if they are not connected, the rear defrost will not work. If those cables have a flat metal piece on the end, simple take some super glue and glue them on the rear window at the locations that will be marked with another flat piece of metal. once glue has set turn on defrost and test.

Reattach rear defrost terminal on rear glass

If you use cyanoacrylate, (super glue paste) that will hold it. Make sure the foil is also stuck or it will burn out from a hot spot.

You have to solder it on with a soldering iron and silver solder, if you can't do it any local shop should be able to for a minimal fee.
