Engine sputters when giving gas, has a hard time accelerating
2000 stratus, I thought it might have been bad gas or dirty fuel injectors, put in supreme and some carb and fuel cleaner. Still has problem. When running down the freeway it runs great, but try and give it gas and it sputters

what does "not with cheap ones" mean? what did you put in.? Did it run like this before the plugs were changed? If you put some Bosch Platinum plugs in from Autozone take them out and put in the plugs that FORD calls for. You may have created your own problem. are your plug wires good?
Being that you have a 1998 Toyota Camry, these cars are fuel injected and shouldnt need the gas pedal depressed to feed fuel to your engine. It's possible you may have a dirty fuel pump or dirty injectors. Here are some possible steps (cheapest in $) so follow these in order to spend less money.
- Run some Lucas Fuel System Cleaner (green cap bottle), do two treatments of that in your gas tank and see if that makes a difference. Dirty lines and clogged injectors are caused by cheap gas and or constantly running on Empty thus allowing fuel pump to pick up sediment from bottom of gas tank.
- Sputtering could also be worn spark plugs (too big of a gap) and or faulty spark plug wires or both.
-Timing chain issues usually occur if you hear a constant vibration near the top of the engine.
-Transmission issues would be having trouble putting the car in certain gears, or the transmission stick does not sit in gear properly (slippage).
Just some suggestions that may help with your problem.
You need your idle speed adjusted, or you have bad gas, or you have dirty fuel injectors. I would put some injector cleaner in the fuel tank. Go fill the car up. Then if it doesn't improve by the end of that tankfull, I'd take it in for a tune-up.
A fuel pressure test will tell you if the pump is performing as it should, the first step would be to scan the computer to see what the code or codes are. Has the vehicle had a tune up recently if ever?
YOU COULD HAVE DIRTY CLOGGED FUEL INJECTORS.OR WEAK COIL.LOW COMPRESSION CYLINDERS.TRY CLEANING FUEL INJECTORS.BY FILLING GAS TANK UP.THEN PUT A BOTTLE OF FUEL INJECTION CLEANER IN GAS TANK DRIVE CAR AROUND SO CLEANER CAN CLEAN OUT INJECTORS.CHANGE FUEL FILTER.CHECK ALL VACUUM HOSES.ALSO HAVE IGNITION TIMING CHECKED.
REPLACE FUEL FILTER.+ AIR FILTER.CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS.THEY COULD BE DIRTY .LEAKING WHEN ENGINE IS OFF FOULING OUT SPARK PLUGS.FILL GAS TANK UP.PUT A BOTTLE OF FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER.IN GAS TANK.DRIVE AROUND SO CLEAN CAN CLEAN INJECTORS.IF YOU STILL HAVE SAME PROBLEM.HAVE CAR SCAN TO SEE IF IAT ECT MAF SENSORS IS WORKING.
