Go to Autozone.com They have a repair section on their website. Enter your make and Model...Navigate to the section of repair you need. They have enlisted the services of AllData...so its fairly comprehensive. Also, many public libraries have online auto repair manuals for free. You'll need to join your library, get a card and a password for the online site....Good luck...

This could be the fuse check the fuse panel. This could be the resistor in the heater plenum behind the glovebox, it could also be the heater fan motor. The easiest thing to check is the fuse, then use a volt meter on the heater fan motor and if you have voltage there, it is the motor. If not it is most likely the resistor.

I have 2003 CORROLA 1.6 VVTI T3, DASBOARD, AC NOT WORKING

seems? (why guess?) (fuses are black/white deal)
3 non related systems failed, hummmmm
check fuses with a walfart $10 meter, on low OHMS> Rx1.
  1. 0 ohms is good
  2. infinity is bad.
fuses that look good, can in fact be bad. (hair line cracks)
so test them and avoid, SEEMS?
Rear glass heater is a hot wire heater.
if it has 12vdc to the wire and no heat the grid is bad (open)
if no 12v there, then the relay/fuse or switch to it is bad,
the voltmeter finds this in 5min work.
Hazard not working (but are blinkers> dead? on either sided?)
again fuses.
Dash board dead, (cluster) FUSES.

A.C. not working (the FSM and alldata.com cover this)
1: fuse , check fuese
2: if heater fan is dead, so will be AC.
3: A/C clutch not engaging for 6 reasons , ask. for list of tests.
all tests are in the FSM. BTW.

my wild guess, is you are working on car that has not run
right for a long time? accumulated, issues?

I have a 1998 Ford Escort Wagon and my AC/HEAT works but it doesn't blow out. IT trickles out faster the faster I drive, but it seems the fan is not working. Also, I thought I had a radiator leak but it...

Your friend is right. To answer your other question these are two totally seperate fans but that does not mean that one fans fuse or relay did not affect the other. You should check your fuses and which ones, if any, are blown. It is likely that during your radio installation a bare contact touched something and blew the fuse(s). If the fuse is blown and, when you replace it and work your heater fan, it blows again then chances are your radio may have cut a wire upon sliding it in. Reply back to this post and let me know.

AIR CONDITIONER QUIT WORKING

Pop the hood, start the vehicle and turn the AC on. Watch the compressor, it should have a center that rotates on an off and you should hear a clicking sound. This is the compressor clutch you are looking at. If the compressor is not doing this, check the fuses for the AC. If the fuses are good, then most likely the high side sensor switch is not working, therefore the clutch never engages and the air never gets cold.

Try that and get back to me, ok?

Heat/ac fan doesn't work

go to the ac fan resistor first - then check the fan itself (put 12 v), remove climate control and check plug for shortage-melted wires

Fan quit on 87 celebrity, heat ac, etc.. fuse ok ????

Hi
Check for bad connection at heater resistor or try tapping heater motor lightly
with ignition switch on and heater switch on. Could be heater switch connection.
