Each radio carries different code.

Check with dealership...they may charge you but you need proof of ownership to get code.

Sometimes radio need removed to read the serial number on it to get code.

Hi I have a 2000 Kia rio and the stereo has come up with the word code I have the 4 digit code but it won't let me enter it. How do I type in the code?

The radio anti-theft code was given to the orig owner with the cars paperwork like the owners manual, if you are not the Orig owner you need to contact the dealer, they can access the factory data base and provide the code, also ask how to enter it into the radio.

We do not have anti-theft radio codes, they are stored on the factory database and we do not have access to that system, it is secure.

Mitsubishi codes are only available from the Main Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service.

Factory stereo code

Factory radio codes are an anti-theft deterrent, they are unique to each radio and car serial number, in order to get the code the dealer will have to access the manufacturers data base, you will need to pull the radio and record the radio model number and the serial number of the chassis of the radio and take it to the dealer, they will not in most cases give the info out over the phone, this would defeat the whole purpose of the code.
