Its located behind the glove box. Open the glove box, squeeze the sides and it should come all the way down. The cabin filter is behind there.

Where is dust and pollen filter located 04 civic

The cabin air filters are located in a box that is part of the blower motor housing.

To access them, you will need to get behind the glove compartment. Open the glove box and you will see the stops/supports on each side of the door. They are held in by clips, so push from the outside inward and pop them loose. At this point, the glove box door will open fully and dump its contents on the floor.

Now, look behind the door, you will see the blower housing. On the front of the housing is a plastic cover. Remove the cover and you will see two tabs. Pull the left tab to remove the first filter and its carrier. Slide the tab on the right to the left and remove the second filter. Remove each old filter from its carrier and replace them with the new filters.

Reverse the process to put everythig back together. Clean up all that stuff on the floor. ;)

Inside the car air cleaner filter, where are they located and how do you replace it?

the cabin filters (you need 2) are behind the glove box. There are a couple of rubber bumpers that keep the glove box from opening ... moving them allows it to drop wide open and give access to the cabin filters.

LOCATION OF CABIN FILTER

If you release the holders on the sides of the glovebox (when it is open) the glovebox will hang down, and you will see a removable black panel behind the glovebox...remove that panel, and the cabin filter will be behind it.

Open the glove box and there are push out tabs on the left and right side pop them out. Now watch it because you are about to dump the contents of your glove box on the floor. let the box hang freely from the lower hinge and look in the back. You will see a white panel that pulls out the panel has a tray attached with the filter element in it remove old element and replace with new 20ish bucks at the parts store lots more at the dealer. re-install filter tray and reverse your removal steps to re-install.
